Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel:
Hall of Honor induction

We are deeply honored to celebrate our pastor, Rev. Dr. A. Byron Coleman III, on his selection for induction into the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel’s Hall of Honor at Morehouse College. As we observe Pastor Appreciation Month this October, this recognition feels especially meaningful as we reflect on his faithful leadership and dedication to our church family.

Since its founding, the King Chapel has stood as one of the most sacred and historic spaces in the nation, dedicated to recognizing leaders who have advanced faith, education, and justice. Being included in the Hall of Honor is one of the highest distinctions Morehouse College bestows. It is reserved for visionaries whose lives reflect Dr. King’s call to serve humanity and to lead with courage and compassion.

Rev. Dr. Coleman’s portrait will hang among a select group of pastors, presidents, and change agents whose work has transformed lives and strengthened communities around the world. His inclusion is a testament to his unwavering faith, his commitment to God’s people, and his lifelong work to uplift others through ministry, education, and service.

As a proud Morehouse alumnus from the Class of 1993, this recognition also celebrates his enduring connection to the college that helped shape his purpose and his pursuit of justice.

During this Pastor Appreciation Month, let us take time to express our gratitude for Rev. Dr. Coleman’s example of servant leadership and the countless ways his ministry continues to bless our congregation and community. Please join us in giving thanks for this incredible honor and in congratulating Rev. Dr. A. Byron Coleman III for his lasting legacy of leadership, love, and service to both God and community.
